Laurie Rogers started her nursing career in 1994 as a registered
nurse, caring for patients in the Emergency Dept of the local
community hospital where she grew up just north of Boston. She went
on to further her education and became a Family Nurse Practitioner
in 2005 after earning a Master's Degree in Nursing from Rivier University.
She continued to work in Emergency Departments, but became interested
in the prevention of disease and aging, so she started working in
a family practice where she took care of her home town residents.
She was able to help numerous patients lose weight, reverse chronic disease, discontinue and avoid medication, and help with the affects of aging using botox, after being certified in 2008.
She finally escaped the cold weather in 2013, when she relocated to the Sarasota area.
She has continued to work in Emergency and Family medicine, and is adjunct faculty at Keiser University as a clinical instructor in their BSN program.
She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and is currently working on her Board certification in Lifestyle Medicine.
Along with Botox, she has an interest in fillers and other facial rejuvenation, and is working towards certifications.
She is an active member in the community where she serves as a Guardian ad Litem, a founding member of Impact 100 SRQ, and she volunteers for Take Stock in Children and All Faith's Food Bank.
